Seismic Inversion
ENG   RUS

Conventional seismic data is basically the response of the interface between geologic layers inside the Earth. By contrast, a seismic inversion transfers the seismic interfaces into layers. Hence interpretation can be made on lithological units. Acoustic impedance sections show improvements in layer visualization and vertical resolution.

Since 1997, our specialists have successfully been using the Jason Geoscience Workbench software for seismic modeling, acoustic and elastic impedance inversion for 2D data as well as for large scale 3D data.
