Reservoir Characterization
ENG   RUS

The success of reservoir characterization depends on the comprehensive integration of various disciplines. Complex structural interpretation results, seismic/sequence stratigraphy approach, core/log data, common geological knowledge and depositional/facies environment modeling are essential parts in reservoir geological model building. Reservoir characterization includes determination of reservoir limits, structure, volume and reservoir properties (porosity, permeability, net pay thickness, heterogeneity etc).

Verification of geometry and depth image of
the oil field using pre-stack depth migration.

Volume visualization enables quick identification
of a prospect or targets.

Integration of seismic and well data
are used to study depositional history
and definition of the reservoir’s internal
architecture.

AVO and inversion results were used for determining gas reservoirs location, porosity and net thickness.
