Seismic Observer

Job location:

Offshore-Global onboard SMNG vessels.

Job Description / Duties:

This position is responsible for the accurate setup and operation of all seismic recording systems and streamers with associated hardware/devices onboard the vessel. You will monitor and record high quality data within the required specifications.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Marine Seismic Observer
• Knowledge of Syntrak and Seal (2D/3D) seismic recording systems and streamers by Sercel

Operating mode:

Must be able to work offshore for extended periods of time (rotations are currently 3 months offshore/3 months leave).
