In December 1999 our company was ISMC-certified (International Safety Management Code) and obtained "the Document on Company Conformity".

All SMNG vessels have to date been certified and obtained corresponding documents.

Sevmorneftegeofizika recognizes the significance and criticality of meeting all the international conventions and, governed by "The corporate policy in the safety of navigation and environmental protection", takes on the full responsibility for the health and security of its staff.

In regard of its vessels, SMNG attaches much attention to meeting international requirements for ensuring safety and protection of environment.

The management of the Company certifies every person ashore and aboard the vessels for the correspondence to the standards and instructions, which are in force in company’s safety management system.

The Management is responsible for the correct understanding, implementation and maintenance of the company’s policy among the personnel at all levels.

In April 2008, our Quality Management System was inspected by auditors of the Certification Association "Russian Register" in order to audit compliance with the requirements ISO 9001:2000 and was acknowledged satisfactory in respect of marine geophysical surveys declared to certification. In May 2008, SMNG Quality Management System was given a certificate compliance with the standard ISO 9001:2000 in respect of marine geophysical surveys.

The leadership of our company pays much attention to the activities of the personnel on increasing of effectiveness of the Quality Management System and its processes with the help of using strategy and aims in the quality sphere, results of internal audits, analysis of the received data and planning improvements in activities.

Meeting actual requirements and anticipating growing demands of the clients are the main trend of the company activities in provision of quality. Special attention is paid to satisfying obvious and indirect demands of the company customers.
