Konstantin A. Dolgunov, General Director of SMNG

Konstantin Dolgunov's career has been connected with geological and geophysical prospecting for oil and gas both in the Russian Seas and worldwide. Since 1985, he has served as SMNG General Director. Primarily due to his strenuous efforts the Company has taken over the leadership of Russian marine geophysics.

His career began in 1974 and includes first 11 years with a Sakhalin-based Trust "Dalmorneftegeofizika", where he was employed as a geophysical operator and a party chief until assuming the responsibility of Deputy of General Director in 1985. Konstantin Dolgunov made a valuable contribution to discovering hydrocarbon fields in the North-Eastern part of the Sakhalin Shelf. He also ensured the building of the first few specialized ships in Finnish shipyards.

Konstantin Dolgunov graduated from the Moscow Academy of Oil and Gas after specializing in geophysical prospecting for mineral deposits. He has a mining geophysicist qualification. He was awarded the All State Prize (Russia's highest award) in recognition of achievements in oil and gas discoveries in 1995. Konstantin Dolgunov is Honorary Oil Industry Worker, Honorary Explorer, Honorary Worker of Gazprom. He has government awards of Russian Federation.

Boris G. Sapozhnikov, First Deputy General Director of SMNG

Boris Sapozhnikov has worked as SMNG Deputy General Director since 1985. Upon graduation from Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute in 1974, he had 11 years of experience in a Sakhalin-based trust "Dalmorneftegeofizika", where he began as a senior technician and was progressively promoted to Manager of the production and technical department.

Boris Sapozhnikov has been in charge of updating and re-equipping the Company fleet. Seven ships, equipped with up-to-date navigation and geophysical facilities, are currently operating worldwide.

Boris Sapozhnikov did his studies in geophysical prospecting for mineral deposits in Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute in 1974, and he has earned a mining geophysicist qualification.

Boris Sapozhnikov is Honorary Oil Industry Worker, Honorary Explorer of Russian Federation.

Valeriy N. Martirosyan, Deputy General Director on Geology of SMNG

Valeriy Martirosyan has worked in his current capacity since 1988. After graduating from Ivano-Frankovsky Oil and Gas University in 1973, he was employed by the trust "Kaspneftrazvedka" in Baku, Azerbaijan as a senior technical geologist, geologist and senior geologist. In 1984 he joined the "Soyuzmorgeo" in Murmansk as Senior Geologist.

Valeriy Martirosyan has taken an active part in discovering vast reserves of oil and gas on the Russian Arctic Shelf. He has also been responsible for updating the Company Processing Center and its Interpretation Department leading to the establishment of the largest Processing Center in North-Western Russia.

Master’s degree received from the Ivano-Frankovsky Oil and Gas University, Geology Faculty specialising in geology, exploration for oil and gas.

Valeriy Martirosyan is Honorary Oil Industry Worker, Honorary Explorer. He has government awards of Russian Federation.
